A Quick Guide for Resort and Beach Club Staff

This guide helps your front-desk staff smoothly verify mate.travel Day Pass bookings when guests arrive, ensuring a seamless experience.

Steps to Verify a Day Pass

Step 1: Request the Day Pass
Politely ask the guest to show their mate.travel Day Pass.

Step 2: Guest Opens mate.travel

Guests should open the mate.travel website or app on their mobile device and ensure they're logged in.

Step 3: Locating the Day Pass

Depending on the user's account type, the process differs slightly:

  • Club Member (Orange Button):

    • The guest taps on the orange "Digital Pass" button located at the top right corner.

    • On the Digital Pass page, they tap on the "Day Pass" tab at the bottom navigation menu.
  • Free Account User (White Button):
    • The guest taps on the white "Day Pass" button at the top right corner, which immediately displays their Day Pass.

Step 4: Verify Booking Details

Check the displayed Day Pass for essential booking details, including:
  • Guest's full name

  • Booking date

  • Number of guests

  • Booking confirmation status

Step 5: Collect Balance

A 10% non-refundable deposit and a transaction fee were processed at the time of booking. The remaining 90% balance, as indicated on the Day Pass (see screenshot below), is due upon the guest's arrival.

Step 6: Welcome the Guest

Once verified and any balance paid, welcome your guest warmly and provide further instructions about their day pass experience at your venue.
